Daily Mile

Every day after big break we all run around the yard. Some people do two laps and some people do three laps. At the start of the year we all did three laps in a snake around the yard. A snake is, when you pick a partner and everyone lines up behind each other then we all do the three laps. The daily mile run is really good for keeping you fit and healthy. After a while you get used to doing the laps and its not so hard anymore.

Football Final 2017

On Wednesday the 14th of June the boys football team played in the all Dublin Division 3 final in the AUL Complex. Their opponents were Swords ETNS. Swords started the game well, but we soon broke through and Sean Doyle netted to score the first of the game. Soon after that Aidan Merrigan chased a long ball and got on the end of it to put us 2-0 up before half time.We went into the second half 2-0 up although Ciaran Kelly was tested early. Swords looked the better team but Evan O'Connell put the game to bed thanks to an amazing ball by Adam Mitchell. Swords soon broke through our defence and took it around Ciaran but they couldn't find the back of the net. Swords ETNS fought a hard battle but we kept them out thanks to some amazing saves by the FAI Man Of The Match Ciaran Kelly.
"All of the lad's played well and it was a good match," - Riain Geoghegan"I was happy to play and take the cup home" - Ciaran Kelly.⚽⚽⚽

Lilliput

All three sixth classes got a bus down to Lilliput. it took a while to get down but it was worth it in the end. First of all we all got split up into two teams. One group went to do outdoor games like "BANG! the other group went off to do rock climbing there were a variety of stuff to do such as rock climbing, bog jumping, canoeing, treasure hunt and trampolines.

My personal favourite was the canoeing and the bog jumping there was these two huge dogs walking around, they were harmless and so cute. After the bog we had to take a shower. We all ordered our pizza but we had to go to Apache pizza in Mullingar.

We all said bye to the people that worked there my favourite person was the girl. The funniest thing that happened was when i lost my shoe in the bog and Kerrie fell face first into the bog. It took about 2 hours and 15 minutes to get home. It was a long journey but we all got home safely.

Fighting words Glencree

We went on a mini bus to Wicklow Mountains it had great views. We had to walk down a steep hill until we got to the building. It was a little cottage with amazing views all around it. When we got in we all got a warm and cosy welcome. The two main instructors were Mark and Martin. It was really bright and colourful.

Experience: First of all we worked as a group to make the start of our story. Mark got us to say our ideas out loud and then we would vote secretly for the best idea. Then we had our lunch outside where the magnificent views were. When we came back in it was completely different. There were tables and markers and paper because we had to finish off the story by our selves. Some people decided to work by themselves or in pairs. The illustrator Andrea drew pictures of our main characters which were (Sean the magical mushroom and Fury the curry). We got to bring home a booklet with our story in it. It was an AMAZING place and everyone loved it we would definitely recommend this to any age
